Estimating Manager
Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
Manages the development, planning/scheduling of proposals in accordance with estimating policy as well as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, USG Bus. System Requirements & other govt. regulations
Key Responsibilities
This position will lead the IFG (Integrated Fighter Group) F-22 Estimating & Pricing team. Your team will provide Estimating & Pricing support from pre-RFP activities through proposal negotiations. You will prioritize team workload; assist team members in data analysis and error correction; review estimates to ensure compliance with established procedures required for proposal adequacy; ensure proper training and development of Estimating personnel; lead interface with F-22 Program personnel and leaders.
Provide training and mentoring to all levels of estimators and pricing analysts to ensure organizational capabilities are met and individual growth is accomplished. Developing relationships is critical to the success of this role, so you are committed to excellence and detailed oriented.
Develops, communicates, & implements Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, & conducts monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are implemented.
Superior presentation skills: the development of complex Excel-based cost models is crucial for strategy development, Leadership Team pricing reviews and submission.
