Path Construction is seeking a motivated Estimating Engineer to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. We are a rapidly growing general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, with additional offices in Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the estimating team and senior estimators throughout the bid process
  • Perform quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimates
  • Prepare and manage bid packages
  • Assist with subcontractor outreach and bid procurement
  • Track and manage RFIs during the bidding phase
  • Support cost analysis and bid comparisons
  • Assist with scheduling and project planning efforts
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • Contribute to accurate, competitive, and high-quality bids

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • 1+ years of construction estimating experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project
  • Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment
