Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. 
  • Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance matters. 
  • Research and analyze tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership. 
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted advice. 
  • Assist with tax projections, estimated tax calculations, and year-end planning. 
  • Support IRS and state tax notice resolution efforts. 
  • Collaborate with team members on complex tax engagements and special projects. 
  • Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 
  • CPA license a plus but not required. 
  • 2+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred. 
  • Experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
  • Knowledge of trust and estate taxation is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during busy season.
