Essbase / Hyperion Consultant

Location: Dearborn, MI

Position Type: 06 months plus contract

Rate: DOE

Job Description

5 to 8 years' experience in Oracle Essbase/Hyperion Planning development/Post launch support with version 11x experience Experience with BSO/ASO Model Cube Design/ Development. Performance Tuning BSO/ASO Model Cube. Metadata and Data integration process between Source Systems and Essbase/Hyperion Planning.

Hands on coding experience with SQL server and performance tuning of SQL-2012 server queries SQL server stored procedure, packages, functions, ref cursors, dynamic SQLs etc.(Mandatory)

Building Essbase Cubes using Essbase Studio and Data Mart framework Experience in MAXL, MDX, Smart View, Essbase Toolbar Customization using VB Scripting(VB Optional) Strong knowledge in Essbase calc scripts and data load from SQL.

Understanding the customization process for Smart View and having the ability to create custom reports and workflows.

Ability to come up with technical design based on business requirements Strong in debugging and looking at existing code for modifications Design, develop, and maintain tools and scripts to help Enhancements and Production support issues Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Ability to think creatively and work independently on complex tasks Highly motivated individual who can work independently in a highly collaborative environment while producing strong results with little or no oversight is preferred.
