Job Description
The Office Coordinator provides administrative support to the Offices of Competitive Club Sports and Esports. The Office Coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient operations for both offices, assists with distribution of scheduled event information, coordinating with other departments for scheduled events, ensuring proper requisition payment, reconciliation and tracking for supplies, equipment, services and travel, maintains records for student participation, compliance tracking and ensures policies and procedures are updated. The Office coordinator directs all information both in person and via phone to the appropriate staff member, answers questions regarding the office and monitors individual staff calendars.
Education and Experience
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant experience in an educational environment or experience as an office coordinator. Knowledge of budgetary information input and familiar with data entry.
Skills and Knowledge
This position requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
  • Administrative support for the Offices of Competitive Club Sports and Esports. This includes assisting with scheduled event information distribution and communication with other departments (i.e. keeping calendars up to date with events related to esports and club sports).
  • Assists in ensuring proper requisition, reconciliation and tracking for supplies, equipment, services and travel as well as budget reconciliations.
  • Directs all information both in person and via phone to the appropriate staff member, answers questions regarding the office and monitors individual staff calendars. Supporting ongoing projects and keeping track of updates through notion and discord.
  • Maintains records for student participation, compliance tracking and ensures policies and procedures are updated.
  • Communicates with staff and students, provides information about responsibilities and information needed, other duties as assigned.
