The Commercial Partnership Planning & Inventory team, guided by their expertise, formulates robust commercial plans aimed at elevating inventory management strategies. Their primary focus revolves around optimizing commercial spaces for our partners sponsoring our events. Emphasizing team chemistry and collaboration, we cultivate a friendly and dynamic work environment.

The Commercial Partnership Planner & Inventory Analyst supports our commercial teams to deliver best-in-class client promotional materials. You will create overviews for pricing, exclusivity, and partner deliverables to deliver business growth, and profitability, and enhance our customer retention.

You report to our Team Lead Commercial Partnership Planning & Inventory and are a part of our Global Commercial team.

What you'll do:

  • Orchestrate commercial partnership requests
    • Provide top-notch pricing and packaging consultancy and manage client pitches in terms of value projections & partner deliverables
    • Deduct relevant commercial partnership data and communicate them to affected stakeholders to assist in strategic decision-making
    • Support the definition of custom partner activations and keep track of cost and margin profiles
    • A core responsibility of this role is delivering top-tier commercial consultancy for the Call of Duty League, DreamHack as well as Mobalytics while fostering seamless alignment with key stakeholders across our North American team.
  • Serve as the central connection between different departments to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
    • Collaborate closely with sales, product, marketing and other teams to create and optimize compelling brand opportunities around our properties.
    • Act as the primary liaison with the game ecosystem and product leads to drive commercial inventory innovation and deliver best-in-class branding opportunities.
    • Ensure alignment across departments by proactively fostering open dialogue, shared goals and coordinated efforts to maximize impact.
  • Perform other duties within the Commercial Operations unit as required (e.g., Research or Salesforce)
    • Manage and optimize commercial inventory and branding opportunities for all EFG products
    • Maintain and develop the commercial operations library
  • There are rarely standardized, one-size-fits-all solutions in place - you have the opportunity to drive your own ideas and work in your own style

    • Game ecosystem overviews, commercial rights, support with publisher pitches, etc.?
    • Review client pitches in terms of pricing, exclusivity & partner deliverables
    • Support and help manage the commercial inventory for all EFG products
    • Develop, improve, and communicate commercial processes with international EFG offices
    • Perform other duties within the Commercial Operations unit as required (e.g. Research, Salesforce)

What you need:

  • Ability to organize multi-stakeholder pitches, processes and projects in an international business environment confidently and effectively in your own way
  • Strong problem-solving skills & adaptive, agile working style suited to fast-paced digital business environments
  • Growth & innovative mindset with a bold, proactive and adaptable approach to challenges and change
  • Understanding of the competitive esports landscape and knowledge of the sponsorship ecosystem in esports, traditional sports, or entertainment
  • Min. 2 years of work experience in Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations, Product Management, Business Development, or another related field in the sports, gaming, or entertainment industries (internship shall be sufficient) is a plus
  • Comfortable working with business tools such as G Suite, Monday.com or Salesforce
  • Fluent in English, another language like German, Spanish or Arabic is a plus

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is:

  • United States: USD $60,000–$67,000
  • United Kingdom: GBP £45,000–£50,000
  • European Union: EUR €50,000–€58,000

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate's location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. The listed salary ranges reflect the expected base pay for this position and do not include any additional compensation or benefits for which the successful candidate may be eligible.
