Job Description
  • POSITION GOALS
    โ€ข The Esports Coach will help to develop/grow the Esports program and to provide additional support to our student-athletes.
    โ€ข The Esports Coach will remain consistent with Camden County College's acknowledgement of the inherent value and dignity of all individuals by creating and nurturing a learning and working environment that affirms and leverages our community's traditions, heritages, perspectives, and experiences.   • Perform in-game coaching, teaching, and instruction from the Esports arena at the William G. Rohrer Center in Cherry Hill
  • Recruit student athletes
  • Travel with team to and from competitions (where applicable)
  • Monitor academic progress of student athletes
  • Assist with pre-game and post-game setup and production activities as needed
  • Assist with promotional activities of Cougar Esports including in-person, online and through social media
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Esports Director

Minimum Qualifications
-Strong knowledge and coaching ability in one or more of the following esports titles: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, or Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.
-Familiarity with streaming platforms (such as Twitch.tv and YouTube) and streaming software.
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, planning, leadership, attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, and sound judgement.
-Ability and commitment to recruit, instruct, and motivate college student-athletes.
-A positive role model for young adults.
-Ability to work with a diverse student population in a multicultural environment.
-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
