An ESL Aide (or English as a Second Language Teacher Assistant) supports certified teachers by providing instruction, language development, and classroom assistance to English Language Learners (ELLs). They work with individuals or small groups to improve speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills, while helping students adapt to the school environment.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Support: Reinforce lessons in reading, writing, and content areas using ESL strategies directed by the teacher.
