What is an ESG research analyst?

ESG Research Analysts are professionals who evaluate companies and investments based on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. They analyze data related to sustainability, ethical practices, and corporate governance to assess how well a company manages risks and opportunities related to these areas. Their insights are used by investors, asset managers, and organizations to make informed decisions that align with responsible investing principles. ESG Research Analysts play a crucial role in promoting transparency and accountability in the corporate world.

How does an ESG research analyst typically collaborate with portfolio managers and other investment professionals?

As an ESG Research Analyst, you will frequently work alongside portfolio managers, analysts, and investment committees to integrate environmental, social, and governance factors into investment decisions.
