What are some common challenges faced by ESF (English as a Second Language) teachers in multicultural classrooms?

ESF teachers often work with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, which can present both rewarding and challenging experiences. One common challenge is addressing varying levels of English proficiency within the same classroom, requiring differentiated instruction and flexible lesson planning. Additionally, cultural differences can influence learning styles and classroom behavior, so ESF teachers need strong intercultural communication skills and adaptability.
