Job description

The Mortgage Customer Service Representative assists in the Escrow area by performing the following duties.

  • Review and update escrow and non-escrow Hazard information to agree with insurance documents in the Insurance Workflow Queue.
  • Respond to and manage incoming customer and vendor inquiries through the call queue in a professional and timely manner.
  • Receives payment of insurance premiums from escrow accounts.
  • Review insurance losses according to investor guidelines for endorsement or loss account set-up.
  • Performs various clerical duties, including the filing and correspondence in the appropriate loan files.
  • Provides superior customer service, both written and verbal, to homeowners, bankers, and other vendors.

Requirements
Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Required Work Experience: Two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technology Skills: Accurately and efficiently process transactions. Proficient in Word & Excel. Preferred Black Knight System experience.
Required Skills or traits for the position: Follow established policies, procedures & guidelines. Demonstrate analytical decision making and problem solving skills.
