Reporting to the AVP, Escrow, this position is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of escrow accounts. This role assists in the analysis of financial data for escrow accounts and facilitates the disbursement of funds for property taxes, insurance and other relevant obligations.

Additionally, the Escrow Specialist I assists with hazard insurance, flood insurance, MIP/ PMI and Tax payments along with Escrow Analysis ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position collaborates closely with other departments to ensure effective resolution of escrow accounts, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or GED Required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in the mortgage servicing industry
  • 1+ years' experience in Escrow preferred
  • 1+ years' experience working in a fast-paced work environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • MSP experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Good judgement with the ability to evaluate and make decisions
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Customer service/ client orientation with strong execution skills and results orientation
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities
  • High-level of attention to detail and consistency

Compensation

  • The hourly range for this position is between $18.00 - $21.32 hourly
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
