Job description

Position Title: Remote Commercial Title Examiner
A nationally recognized title insurance and escrow company is seeking a Commercial Title Examiner to join their team. This role is vital in examining titles and searching real estate records, which are essential for ensuring accurate property transactions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the commercial sector, with a focus on providing detailed reports and collaborating with various stakeholders. The position demands a strong commitment to customer service and effective communication skills. Candidates should be prepared to handle a dynamic work environment, particularly during busy seasons.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 / Year DOE
Remote Commercial Title Examiner Responsibilities:
  • Conduct commercial title searches and examinations, preparing title reports, and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Review and analyze survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions for accuracy
  • Examine title searches to prepare title commitments and produce cover letters highlighting title matters
  • Deliver title commitments to relevant parties, including realtors and lenders
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with underwriting counsel and assist with ad hoc title requests
  • Provide status updates in software to communicate workflow effectively
  • Identify and address discrepancies in title surveys

Commercial Title Examiner Requirements:
