Overview


We are seeking a Commissioned Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. In this position, you will be tasked to provide physical security, physical security inspections and entry access control at designated locations.

Responsibilities


  • Perform internal guard services to include but not limited to, vehicle and personnel entry control points, internal roving patrols and armed escort guard services;
  • Protect equipment and personnel;
  • Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems;
  • Maintain proficiency with Non-Lethal Weapons;
  • Perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:


  • US Citizen or Eligible for Employment in the United States
  • Must have a valid US Drivers License
  • A minimum of 21 years old.
  • Prior experience in U.S. Military, corrections, security and/or Law Enforcement is preferred but not required for this position.
  • Must have completed Texas Private Security Level III Training course within previous 30 days or ability to complete course at own expense prior to appointment, OR have a valid Texas PSB Level III License in hand (Full-Time Law Enforcement Officer applicants are exempt from this requirement)
  • Must have clean criminal history and able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
  • Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
  • Employment with SENTRYSIX is contingent upon a favorable background investigation
  • Able to don all required personal protective gear.
  • Qualify and maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons.
