Understanding the context of their experiences, developing trust, and demonstrating sincere empathy are paramount in providing effective mental health care. This role not only supports emotional healing but also aims to improve the overall quality of life for our clients through targeted interventions and supportive counseling.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster connections with our clients.
  • Commitment to ethical and legal standards in the mental health field, especially related to geriatric care.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health, aging-related issues, or grief counseling.
  • A proven track record of successfully providing counseling to older adults dealing with a variety of mental health challenges.
  • An understanding of cultural sensitivities and the capability to relate effectively to older adults from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in leading support groups or community mental health initiatives.
