Job description

Rated as one of the best escape room in California we are a quickly growing Sacramento business. With this in mind, we need fun, energetic people to add to our team. The biggest requirement is dependability. Our escape rooms are known for detail and a commitment to the highest quality guest experience. We are in need of Guest Service / Game Operators that instill these same goals.


This position would be responsible for front desk operations and assisting guests through all the stages of their escape room experience. This all starts with the check-in process as you will be greeting and guiding our guests through the waiver signing and personal belongings storage. The next step will be to introduce the players to the concept of escape rooms and our safety briefing. Then you will guide guests back to their chosen game and will perform our scripted introduction to the game they are playing. This will require comfort in public speaking as well as acting in front of a group. As the group is in the experience your job will be to closely monitor the players through cameras placed all throughout the adventure. You will be required to quickly respond to requests by players for hints, clues, and assistance when they require it. After the player's game has concluded, you will be there to answer questions about the game and offer insights on how the progression of the game was achieved. You will then assist players in collecting their belongings after the game, taking group pictures, and purchasing merchandise. The last step would be to reset the game for the next guests.


WEEKENDS AND NIGHTS ARE REQUIRED:

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS WILLING TO WORK FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAYS, AND HOLIDAYS.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and public speaking, but we are also interested in candidates who demonstrate good hospitality skills. The candidate should have a strong creative mindset, leadership capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills. They should also have excellent organizational skills, time management and an aptitude in problem-solving.
