Job description

Montague ISD is accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools.  Applicants should complete the online application as well as include a cover letter, resume, a one page statement of your philosophy of education, copy of teaching certificate, and three (only) letters of reference.  
 

Qualifications: 
Applicant must possess a valid Texas Superintendent certificate.  Applicant must be an effective communicator with all stakeholders, an astute financial planner who is knowledgeable of funding sources and the budget process, is a strong instructional leader and possesses an effective management style and strong decision making skills.  Applicant must possess integrity and strong moral values, possess small town values, demonstrate strong people skills, be consistent and fair and be civic minded and active in the community.
