Oracle Fusion ERP Project Manager

Job Summary

Next Generation, Inc., an HR Path Company, is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP initiatives for our clients. This role is responsible for managing all phases of ERP implementation projects, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, deployment, change management, and post-go-live support. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role is hybrid in Alexandria, VA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects from initiation through deployment and support
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and project deliverables
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions and gather business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Coordinate project activities across business stakeholders, system integrators, vendors, and internal teams
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed
  • Oversee solution design, system configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-production support activities
  • Ensure successful execution of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production readiness activities
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve project issues and remove delivery roadblocks
  • Drive organizational change management and user adoption initiatives throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establish project governance processes and ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships and coordinate external project resources
  • Track project financials, budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization
  • Develop project documentation including status reports, risk logs, action registers, and executive presentations
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and recommend process enhancements based on lessons learned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading enterprise software or ERP implementations
  • 3+ years of experience managing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP projects
  • Experience leading full lifecycle ERP implementations from planning through go-live and stabilization
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules, including Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, and related business processes
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams consisting of business users, technical consultants, and third-party vendors
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and resource planning
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives, project sponsors, and business stakeholders
  • Experience facilitating workshops, requirements sessions, and executive steering committee meetings
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Experience with ERP integrations, data migration, testing, and change management activities
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus
  • Experience supporting federal, state, local government, or public sector clients is a plus
