HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
The Project Manager, Logistics, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics projects that improve supply chain efficiency, transportation operations, inventory management, and distribution processes. This role oversees project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful implementation of logistics initiatives while meeting operational and business objectives.
Key Functions
• Lead logistics and supply chain projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including transportation, warehousing, procurement, operations, and external vendors.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Analyze logistics processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Manage implementation of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other logistics technologies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Facilitate meetings, provide project status updates, and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure project outcomes against objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
