CGI is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager (Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll) to lead a high profile public sector engagement supporting a strategic state government client in the Salt Lake City, UT area!
This position is based onsite at our client's office in Taylorsville, UT.
This is more than a traditional project management role. You'll lead a talented team of approximately 10 professionals-including junior consultants and senior subject matter experts in supporting CGI's Advantage ERP platform across Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll. Following a successful HR/Payroll modernization, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence while driving the client's long term technology roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact
. Lead end to end delivery for a strategic Advantage ERP engagement supporting Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll operations
. Drive post implementation stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives following a major HR/Payroll modernization
. Ensure operational excellence by managing day to day service delivery, maintaining SLA performance, and delivering exceptional client support
. Partner with client leadership to develop and execute a roadmap of tactical and strategic initiatives that maximize the value of the Advantage ERP platform
. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of approximately 10 professionals, effectively balancing work across consultants and senior subject matter experts
. Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for client stakeholders, proactively managing priorities, expectations, risks, and escalations
. Manage project budgets, resource planning, staffing, schedules, and overall delivery performance
. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues across multiple concurrent workstreams
. Deliver executive level project reporting, including KPIs, project health, roadmap progress, and operational metrics
. Identify opportunities to expand client capabilities, strengthen relationships, and support long term account growth
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What you'll bring
. 8+ years of project management experience delivering ERP or other large scale enterprise technology solutions
. Proven experience leading stabilization and continuous improvement efforts following major system implementations
. Experience managing cross functional teams with varying experience levels, including senior technical experts and subject matter specialists
. Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders
. Experience balancing operational support ("keep the lights on") with the successful delivery of strategic enhancement initiatives
. Experience working with government organizations or other highly regulated environments
. Strong organizational, leadership, problem solving, and communication skills
. Ability to work onsite with our public sector client in Taylorsville, UT.
Desired Skills:
. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
. Experience with CGI Advantage ERP or comparable public sector ERP, HCM, or Financial Management platforms
. Experience supporting SaaS based enterprise solutions and driving customer adoption and value realization
. Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery methodologies within a government contracting environment

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113,400.00 $198,400.00.
