Job description

We are looking for an experienced ERP Integration Manager to lead Record to Report operations supporting Finance and Controlling functions in West Des Moines, Iowa. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for a hands-on leader who can guide cross-functional teams, align technology solutions with business priorities, and improve the effectiveness of enterprise applications. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, project leadership, and IT teams to shape requirements, manage delivery, and support scalable SAP FICO solutions.


Responsibilities:

โ€ข Direct day-to-day support and strategic planning for the Record to Report landscape, balancing team capacity across enhancement work, production issues, and project initiatives.

โ€ข Lead and develop a blended team of functional and technical professionals responsible for defining requirements, configuring solutions, and supporting SAP FI/CO processes.

โ€ข Collaborate with business engagement, data, and IT partners to create application plans covering upgrades, integrations, vendor coordination, and ongoing platform support.

โ€ข Drive configuration and design decisions that strengthen enterprise process alignment while supporting broader business integration goals.

โ€ข Work with finance and operations stakeholders to design improved workflows and deliver system capabilities that address business objectives.

โ€ข Prepare and maintain fit-gap analysis, solution documentation, and design rationale to ensure customizations are supported by clear business value.

โ€ข Manage multiple initiatives at once by overseeing scope, status communication, prioritization, documentation, scheduling adjustments, and stakeholder alignment.

โ€ข Support issue resolution and continuous improvement by analyzing custom enhancements, troubleshooting data or application challenges, and recommending practical solutions.

โ€ข Establish team procedures for testing and validation, including guidance for test scenarios, test data preparation, and verification activities.

โ€ข Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, map current and future processes, and translate business needs into functional specifications.

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
โ€ข 7+ years of experience working with SAP Record to Report applications, including configuration responsibilities within Finance and Controlling environments.
โ€ข Strong background in SAP FICO, with preference for experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA.
โ€ข At least 5 years of leadership experience, including performance management, resource planning, and oversight of budgets or operating expenses.
โ€ข Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments with a solid understanding of product configuration and related business processes.
โ€ข Proven ability to create business requirement documents, functional specifications, workshop outputs, and process blueprints.
โ€ข Demonstrated strength in conflict resolution, complex problem-solving, and working with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
โ€ข Practical experience with resource allocation, application support, and delivery of integrated ERP solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
