Job description

Summary:
This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the various production areas by functioning as part of a team to meet production goals. This position will set priorities for customer orders through the different production processes ensuring that on time delivery and customer satisfaction targets are met.
Essential Functions:
* Collect and audit all production orders for discrepancies and make necessary changes within enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Close all production orders within ERP system once audit is complete
* Distribute schedules and production orders
* Communicate with various departments to include Production, Quality, Shipping, Scheduling, and Customer Service to give updates on product quality issues and availability of material for shipping or further processing
* Prioritize production orders to meet customer"s requested ship dates or promised dates
* Participate in improvement projects to increase production efficiency through the different departments
* Perform cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy targets are met
* Perform the nonconforming material process including non-conformance material reports (NCMRs), hold tags and material transfers in the system as necessary
* Participate in training of new and seasoned employees
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
* 2+ years of administrative experience within a manufacturing/production environment
* Working knowledge of production operations
* Inventory and cycle counting experience
* Proficiency in enterprise software
Additional Details:
* Hours = M-F 8am to 5pm, Daily and weekend overtime may be required
