Job description

About Nani

At Nani, our mission is to empower women to feel comfortable and confident in all their outdoor adventures. We offer more than just fashion-forward, active swimwear; we strive to create a work environment that feels more like a family—one that fosters a positive, uplifting, and fun culture. Join our team and become part of a dynamic group of individuals who are passionate about what they do!

We’re growing rapidly and seeking a standout Ecommerce Manager who is equal parts strategic, analytical, creative, and results-driven. This person should be a Shopify expert who understands how to turn traffic, great products, and strong storytelling into profitable online growth.

Position Overview

This role is a pivotal opportunity to fuel Nani's next stage of DTC growth. The Ecommerce Manager owns NaniSwimwear.com as a sales channel and is responsible for driving DTC revenue, conversion rate, average order value, digital merchandising, product sell-through, and inventory productivity. You will oversee the day-to-day performance and customer experience of our Shopify store while continually identifying opportunities to make the site easier to shop, more engaging, and more effective at converting customers.

The Ecommerce Manager also plays a key role in paid digital advertising and customer acquisition, helping manage and optimize advertising performance with a focus on ROAS, CAC, and overall marketing efficiency. You will use sales, advertising, customer, and inventory data to determine what is working, where opportunities exist, and what actions should be taken next. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Creative, Product, and Operations to execute successful product launches, promotions, campaigns, and onsite experiences.

As the Ecommerce Manager, you aren't just managing our website, you are running Nani's digital storefront and taking ownership of its growth. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of Nani's DTC business, creating an amazing online customer experience and building a stronger digital presence that introduces more women to Nani and inspires them to Live a Nani life!

Key Responsibilities DTC Revenue & Performance
  • Own ecommerce performance and achievement of Nani's DTC revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute onsite strategies that increase sales, conversion, and customer value.
  • Monitor sales performance against goals and prior-year results, and proactively address performance gaps.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to ensure traffic-generating campaigns translate into website revenue.
Conversion Rate & Average Order Value (AOV)
  • Own and continually improve website conversion rate and average order value.
  • Analyze the customer journey to identify friction, drop-off points, and conversion opportunities.
  • Optimize product pages, collection pages, landing pages, navigation, search, merchandising, promotions, and checkout.
  • Identify cross-sell, upsell, bundle, and threshold promotion opportunities to grow basket size.
  • Monitor mobile conversion separately and ensure an exceptional mobile shopping experience.
Site Merchandising & Inventory Productivity
  • Own digital merchandising across NaniSwimwear.com, including the homepage, navigation, collections, search results, and product recommendations.
  • Merchandise strategically based on sales performance, inventory, seasonality, and business priorities, ensuring best sellers and key categories get appropriate visibility.
  • Use sales and inventory data — weeks of supply, sell-through, sales velocity, and aging inventory — to guide merchandising decisions.
  • Adjust placement, promotions, and product visibility to move slower-selling inventory and maximize sell-through.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations to communicate inventory opportunities and risks.
Website Accuracy & Customer Experience
  • Own the day-to-day health and accuracy of NaniSwimwear.com, including pricing, promotions, product information, inventory availability, imagery, and content.
  • Monitor the site for broken functionality, errors, and customer friction; troubleshoot issues and coordinate with developers or technology partners as needed.
  • Maintain a polished, intuitive, on-brand shopping experience across desktop and mobile.
Product Launches & Promotional Execution
  • Own ecommerce execution for all product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and major sales events.
  • Build and manage the ecommerce launch calendar in coordination with Marketing, Creative, Product, and Operations.
  • Ensure products, pricing, promotions, landing pages, and content are accurate and launch-ready; conduct pre-launch testing and QA.
  • Monitor launch performance in real time, make merchandising adjustments as needed, and conduct post-launch analysis to inform future launches.
Paid Advertising & ROAS
  • Own the performance of Nani's paid digital advertising channels with a focus on profitable customer acquisition and DTC revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising across key platforms, including Meta and Google.
  • Be accountable for paid media performance, including ROAS, MER, CAC, new customer acquisition, conversion rate, and revenue generated from paid channels.
  • Develop and manage paid advertising budgets based on revenue goals, performance, seasonality, inventory position, and business priorities.
  • Monitor campaign performance regularly and proactively adjust spend, audiences, campaigns, creative, and landing pages to improve results.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to develop and test advertising creative, messaging, offers, and audiences.
  • Ensure paid advertising campaigns direct customers to high-converting, relevant landing pages and product experiences.
  • Analyze performance across the entire customer journey—not simply ad-platform ROAS—to understand the true profitability and incremental value of paid media.
  • Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns while reducing or eliminating inefficient spend.
  • Use product performance and inventory data to help determine which products and collections should receive paid advertising support.
  • Coordinate paid media strategy with product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and inventory priorities.
  • Manage outside paid-media agencies or specialists when applicable, setting clear expectations, reviewing performance, and holding partners accountable for results.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on advertising spend, revenue, ROAS, MER, CAC, performance trends, tests, learnings, and recommended next actions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of ecommerce management experience, ideally in DTC apparel, swim, or consumer goods.
  • Hands-on experience managing a Shopify storefront (Shopify Plus preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using ecommerce and web analytics tools (e.g., GA4) to guide decisions.
  • Demonstrated success improving conversion rate, AOV, and revenue for an ecommerce site.
  • Experience with digital merchandising and using sales and inventory data to inform strategy.
  • Comfortable managing multiple product launches, promotions, and deadlines at once.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Marketing, Product, and Operations.
  • An ownership mindset — proactive, data-driven, and quick to turn insight into action rather than waiting for direction.
