UNC Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with fellowship training in Urologic Reconstruction to join our growing and collaborative urology team.

This position offers the chance to maintain a broad general urology practice while developing a specialized focus in genitourinary & urologic reconstruction.

Additionally, there is an opportunity for academic involvement or appointment with UNC School of Medicine, if interested. The ideal candidate will enjoy a diverse clinical practice that includes the diagnosis and treatment of common urologic conditions as well as complex reconstructive cases referred from across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, hematuria, men’s health issues, and urologic cancers.
  • Perform outpatient and inpatient urologic procedures and surgeries.
  • Participate in a shared call coverage.

In addition, the physician will have the opportunity to develop a reconstructive urology practice focused on:

  • Urethral stricture disease, male urinary incontinence, prosthetics, genital and urinary tract reconstruction, and more.
