UNC Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with fellowship training in Urologic Reconstruction to join our growing and collaborative urology team.
This position offers the chance to maintain a broad general urology practice while developing a specialized focus in genitourinary & urologic reconstruction.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for academic involvement or appointment with UNC School of Medicine, if interested. The ideal candidate will enjoy a diverse clinical practice that includes the diagnosis and treatment of common urologic conditions as well as complex reconstructive cases referred from across the region.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, hematuria, men’s health issues, and urologic cancers.
- Perform outpatient and inpatient urologic procedures and surgeries.
- Participate in a shared call coverage.
In addition, the physician will have the opportunity to develop a reconstructive urology practice focused on:
- Urethral stricture disease, male urinary incontinence, prosthetics, genital and urinary tract reconstruction, and more.

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery required.
- Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
