UNC Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with fellowship training in Urologic Reconstruction to join our growing and collaborative urology team.
This position offers the chance to maintain a broad general urology practice while developing a specialized focus in genitourinary & urologic reconstruction.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for academic involvement or appointment with UNC School of Medicine, if interested. The ideal candidate will enjoy a diverse clinical practice that includes the diagnosis and treatment of common urologic conditions as well as complex reconstructive cases referred from across the region.
Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive urology care, including:
  • Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, hematuria, men's health issues, and urologic cancers
  • Perform outpatient and inpatient urologic procedures and surgeries
  • Participate in a shared call coverage

In addition, the physician will have the opportunity to develop a reconstructive urology practice focused on:
  • Urethral stricture disease, male urinary incontinence, prosthetics, genital and urinary tract reconstruction and more

The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists and serve as a referral resource for complex reconstructive cases from urologists throughout the region.
