Registered Nurse – ER

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) Location: Massena, NY

Shift: Day Shift – 3×12 Hours 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Prior travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
  • Active NY RN License required at time of submission
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from facility

Required Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS

Preferred Certifications:

  • TNCC

Required Skills & Experience:

  • General Emergency Department experience with combined Adult/Pediatric patients
  • Triage and emergency patient assessment
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Blood product administration
  • Phlebotomy and IV insertion/maintenance
  • IV vasopressor administration
  • Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
  • Care of ventilated patients
  • BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance
  • Experience with CVA, head injury, and emergency stabilization
  • Isolation precautions and PPE compliance

EMR System:

  • Epic experience required

Additional Details:

  • Patient Ratio: 1:3
  • Travelers must be flexible to float as needed
  • Community Emergency Department setting with adult and pediatric patient populations.
