Job Description
Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider
Profession: Physician

Certifications: Basic ER procedures
Must-Have:
- NP or PA with emergency department experience
- Competency in basic ER procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage
Description:
Five total open Advanced Practice Provider positions available.
Three positions specifically need to be filled urgently.
Seeking candidates who can start as soon as possible.
Schedule includes on-site coverage with no call involved.
Morning and mid shifts are typically required.
Candidates should be familiar with managing a patient volume of approximately 80 patients per day.
Expected daily admissions are about 3.5%.
Patient population mainly consists of level 4 and level 5 cases.
Support staff includes 24-hour physician coverage with 2-4 nurses and 1 imaging technician available at all times.
Procedures such as laceration repair and splinting are required.
Vent management is not required.
No rounding in the ICU as this position is focused on the emergency department.
No grand rounds are conducted.
Referrals for follow-up cases mostly directed to outpatient services.
