Job description

Role Summary

The 2026 Summer MBA Intern - Equity (Fundamental Equity Research) internship involves fundamental analysis of a specific industry or sector to identify investible ideas for various portfolio strategies. The internship culminates in a final verbal presentation aimed at communicating recommendations to investment professionals within the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Involves interviews of company executives and management teams, competitors, suppliers, etc., as well as industry experts and Wall Street analysts
  • Responsible for looking at both primary and secondary transactions
  • Collaborate with other teams and Portfolio Managers via internal meetings
  • Includes possible travel and industry conference attendance

Qualifications

Required:

  • First year MBA student scheduled to graduate in May 2027

Preferred:

  • Strong background in finance and accounting
  • Proficiency in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills
  • In addition to the qualities outlined above, intellectual curiosity and a disciplined approach to analysis are very important traits.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
