How You'll Contribute:
As a Business Development Intern, you will support the Sales and Marketing department by assisting with the execution of business development plans aimed at driving growth. You will work closely with leadership and contribute to market research, prospecting, lead qualification, and relationship-building activities. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to work on client-facing materials and internal strategy support in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Identify and research potential business opportunities and partnerships
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for business development meetings
  • Support the team in managing client communications and relationships
  • Contribute to market research and competitive analysis
  • Attend and help organize local networking events and industry conferences
  • Track and analyze sales data to uncover trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team and other departments
  • Take on additional responsibilities to support overall company goals

What You'll Bring:
Education:
  • Required: Currently enrolled in/or recent graduate of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university.
  • Preferred: Currently enrolled in/or recently graduated from a business or related bachelor's degree program at an accredited university.

Experience:
  • Required: Attendance at networking events
  • Preferred: Experience participating in community support initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and works well both independently and in a team
  • Interest in business strategy and market trends
  • Professional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
