  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC and precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and machine-control systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures to the component level and determine root causes.
  • Maintain and repair equipment including:
    • 5-axis milling machines
    • Mill-turn machining centers
    • CNC lathes
    • EDM equipment
    • Laser-Swiss equipment
    • Motion-control systems
    • Stamping equipment
    • Ovens
    • Mist collectors
    • Supporting manufacturing peripherals
  • Analyze real-time machine information including servo load, temperature, vibration, acoustics, and other performance indicators to identify developing equipment abnormalities.
  • Support predictive-maintenance initiatives focused on reducing breakdowns and preventing product defects.
  • Plan repair activities and determine appropriate methods, tooling, and sequence of operations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment problems.
  • Program and operate CNC equipment as necessary to verify successful repairs.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, specifications, pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams, and ladder logic.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, servo drives, controllers, and related hardware/software.
  • Document repairs, failure information, corrective actions, and root-cause findings within maintenance systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve preventive-maintenance instructions and asset Bills of Materials.
  • Recommend equipment or machine-design improvements to engineering management.
  • Perform tank cleanout, TPM activities, and light repairs as required.
  • Follow applicable FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred, with flexibility based on the depth of hands-on technical experience.
  • At minimum, 1+ year of relevant mechanical, manufacturing, machine-shop, or design-shop experience.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining or troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment to the component level.
  • Ability to read and interpret:

  • Welding experience.
  • Experience supporting predictive or condition-based maintenance programs.
