Overview
Are you currently enrolled in an Engineering program and looking for a paid internship that allows to work with and learn from a highly collaborative team of engineers and product sales staff? Does the opportunity to expand your knowledge around engineering and mechanical design excite you?
Neff Power, a GCG company, is currently seeking a summer Mechanical Design Intern for their 80/20 design team! As an 80/20 Design Engineer Intern, you will work directly with Neff's engineering and product management groups to learn about aluminum extrusion and design and assembly of 80/20 products.

Hours: 29 hours a week required. We are flexible with the schedule, but you will need to be in the office 4-5 days a week
What you'll do
  • Work alongside engineers to assemble aluminum extrusion products
  • Operate basic hand tools: wrenches, sockets, drills, etc
  • Work alongside product managers to design products with AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as needed

What you'll bring
  • Current enrollment in a mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering program required
  • Experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks required
  • Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc) required
  • Willingness to work onsite
