Brandโ€™s Best Friend helps pet brands grow across Amazon, Walmart, Chewy, and social media through smart strategy, strong creative, and hands-on execution. We create content, advertising, and marketplace growth strategies that help pet brands stand out, connect with pet parents, and drive results across retail and social platforms.

Weโ€™re looking for a social-first creative intern who lives and breathes content. Youโ€™re the kind of person who makes videos for fun, notices trends early, has strong taste, and can tell the difference between content that grabs attention and content that gets skipped.

This is an unpaid internship. You will get mentorship from seasoned social media managers, build your portfolio, gain real client work, marketplace/social experience, and exposure to Amazon/Walmart/Chewy strategy.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Create short-form video and photo content for social platforms
  • Assist with content ideation, trend research, and creative brainstorming
  • Help shoot, edit, and organize content for organic and paid campaigns

  • Help with day-to-day creative and marketing tasks that keep projects moving

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Passion for social media, content creation, pets, and digital trends
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and creator-style content
  • Comfortable making simple edits in CapCut, Canva, TikTok, Instagram, Adobe, or similar tools
  • Good creative instincts, basic design taste, and an eye for strong visual content
  • Organized, collaborative, curious, and willing to learn
  • Regular access to a dog you can safely film for content creation
  • Access to a cat is a plus
  • Located in the U.S.

Bonus if you are studying or interested in media, advertising, paid social, marketing, e-commerce, or performance creative.

Internship Details

  • Unpaid internship; school credit available if approved by your program
  • Remote, flexible schedule
  • Approximately 15-20 hours/week
  • 4-month summer internship with opportunity to extend into fall
  • Must have access to your own smartphone and laptop
  • Reference letter provided upon successful completion

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and portfolio, if available. Your portfolio can include personal TikToks, Instagram Reels, school projects, content for clubs/activities, or work-related examples.

Bonus: include 2โ€“3 examples of pet, creator, or brand content you think works well and briefly tell us why.
