• Deliver individualized counseling sessions to clients dealing with mental health challenges and substance use issues, fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients while adhering to professional boundaries and the clinic’s established policies.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups and recreational activities, such as fitness groups, equine therapy, and surf therapy, to promote holistic healing.
• Engage actively with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and innovative technology-integrated tools to enhance therapy outcomes.
• Document all client interactions thoroughly, maintaining accurate and organized records to support effective care continuity.
• Participate in crisis management and preventive interventions, demonstrating sound judgment in high-stress situations.
• Contribute to the creation of a positive therapeutic community that encourages client interaction and support.
• Regularly collaborate with fellow therapists and participate in professional development opportunities within our team.

As a member of our team, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our holistic approach may involve integrating various therapeutic modalities and activities that resonate with clients, such as art therapy and outdoor experiences. • A valid and unrestricted LMFT license issued by the California State Board.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on providing therapeutic services.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required, while a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy is preferred.
• Strong competency in various therapeutic modalities, particularly with couples and family dynamics.
• Demonstrable skills in effective communication and interpersonal interactions.

• Experience working with clients who have PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health issues.
• Familiarity with technology-driven approaches to therapy, including telehealth services and digital health tools.
• A proven record of clinical competence in administering evidence-based practices and ensuring quality care.
• Aptitude for documentation and understanding of compliance with health care standards.
