Job description

St. Joseph's/Candler Physician Network seeks to employ a General Cardiologist to practice in the coastal community of Savannah, Georgia.

 Highlights of the opportunities are:

  • Employed position with a hospital affiliated medical group
  • Join nine established cardiologists (including two EPs) and seasoned team of mid-levels
  • Favorable weekend and holiday call coverage
  • Physician focused administration
  • Clinical dedicated staff (practice manager, RNs, scheduling/travel staff, in-house case posting, referral management, technicians, cardiac sonographers, etc.)
  • Extensive in-office testing (adjacent to hospital) long commutes avoided
  • Large referral base with integrated Primary Care network (over 50 PCPs regionally)
  • Robust/growing regional satellite presence (ten regional satellite locations within 60 miles)
  • Managed locally by tenured, ethical, and transparent administration - shared decision-making models (executive service line forums, LOS initiatives, quality initiatives, etc.)
  • State-of-the art cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs
  • Supported by three cardiothoracic surgeon partners and vascular Physicians  
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, WATCHMAN and PFO/ASD program site
  • Experienced hospital wide nursing staff, with excellent nurse to patient ratio
