Job description
Key Account Manager: Mining (GET / Wear Solutions)
Brisbane | Hybrid + Site Travel (NSW & QLD focus)
CR Powered by Epiroc is a global leader in delivering engineered solutions to the mining sector. From Ground-Engaging Tools (GET) and cast lip systems through to wear solutions and digital technologies, we partner with some of the world's largest miners to improve productivity, safety, and performance.
Now part of the Epiroc group, we combine deep technical expertise with global scale and we're continuing to grow.
The Role
We're looking for a Key Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic mining customers across NSW and QLD.
This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone who understands how mining operations run, can build strong relationships across site and corporate teams, and knows how to turn those relationships into tangible outcomes.
You'll operate as the key link between site and the business, ensuring critical information, insights, and changes on site are communicated early and clearly so we can respond proactively at both operational and executive levels. This role reports into the Head of Sales - East Australasia & India and is based in our Cannon Hill Office in Brisbane. Estimated customer face time is 40 - 60% of depending on site and corporate locations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and grow key mining accounts across both site and corporate levels
- Develop and drive site account plans across your portfolio
- Build strong relationships with site managers, maintenance teams, and procurement
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on your customers, staying close to site activity and changes
- Capture and communicate site intelligence and insights to internal stakeholders to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet across GET, wear solutions, and mining products
- Work closely with Field Technicians and Regional Account Managers to ensure alignment and delivery
- Translate commercial agreements into real outcomes on site
- Maintain visibility of pipeline, demand, and forecasting
What We're Looking For
- Experience in account management, technical sales, or commercial roles within mining or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of the mining value chain and site operations
- Proven ability to build relationships and grow accounts, not just maintain them
- Comfortable operating across both site environments and corporate structures
- Strong communicator, able to translate site insights into clear business actions
- Willingness to travel regularly across NSW and QLD sites
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Exposure to GET, wear products, or mining consumables
- Experience working with Tier 1 mining customers
Why This Role
- Own and grow relationships with Tier 1 mining customers
- Be embedded in the field, close to where decisions are made
- Play a key role in linking site intelligence to commercial strategy
- Join a growing business backed by Epiroc's global scale
