Job Description:

An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and more. Being a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in our region, we see many acute and complex patients. As a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, we work with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population.

Requirements:

  • Telemetry Experience Required
  • RN License (NY License ONLY)
  • Two (2) Years Experience
  • BLS
  • NIHSS certification
