Job description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pediatric Neurology, is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Epileptologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join their team.

Our division is currently made up of 11 Pediatric Neurologists, including 2 pediatric epileptologists at our NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center, and serves one of the largest geographical regions in the state of California and one of the largest children's hospitals in the country.

Our epileptologists provide video EEG monitoring, epilepsy surgical evaluations, outpatient clinics including a multidisciplinary complex epilepsy clinic, outpatient EEG interpretation, general pediatric consult service, and undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching and educational activities. We have 1 adult epilepsy neurosurgeon and 2 pediatric epilepsy neurosurgeons. Our epilepsy group also includes 6 adult epileptologists, 1 neuroradiologist, 2 pediatric neuropsychologists, 1 pediatric neurology nurse practitioner, and a ketogenic diet dietician. We provide surgical, neuromodulatory, and dietary services to our children.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $242,000 - $265,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
