Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Epic Beaker AP/CP Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with laboratory workflows, Epic Beaker system configuration, testing, implementation, and production support. Active Epic Beaker certification is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker AP and CP applications.
  • Analyze business and laboratory requirements and translate them into Epic solutions.
  • Support laboratory workflows including specimen collection, accessioning, processing, testing, result reporting, and pathology workflows.
  • Perform system build, configuration, upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with laboratory leadership, pathologists, clinicians, and IT teams.
  • Participate in integrated testing, validation, upgrades, and go-live support activities.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and laboratory standards.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experiencesupporting Epic Beaker applications.
  • Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) Certification– Mandatory.
  • Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) Certification– Mandatory.
  • Experience supporting laboratory operations and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of pathology, laboratory information systems (LIS), and healthcare IT environments.
  • Experience with application build, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of laboratory workflows, pathology operations, and regulatory requirements.
