Epic Enterprise Project Overview

This position is a critical part of Baton Rouge General'sEpic Enterprise Project, a transformative initiative tooptimizehealthcare delivery through advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems. As part of this project, you will play a key role in implementing, supporting, and enhancing Epic applications to ensure seamless workflows and improved patient care.You will collaborate closely with clinical and technical teams to drive success in this enterprise-wide implementation.

WhatWe'reLooking For:

  • Completion of Epic related training projects/tests

  • Completion of Epic certification preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support internal users in a courteous, caring, and proactive manner

  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in information technologystrongly preferred

  • Familiarity with personal computers (2-3 years); experience with PC hardware troubleshooting is helpful

  • Ability toidentifyand resolve technical issues, build and test systems, and implement requested changes

  • Strong communicationskills and the ability to work collaboratively with users, teams, and Epic representatives

  • Demonstrated initiative, ethical standards, and respect for privacy and safety protocols

What You Will Do:

  • Provide software support to internal customers for applicable operating systems and associated subsystems. Manage and prioritize maintenance, upgrades, and efficient use of software systems. Serve as the liaison between end users and technical staff to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs.

  • Act as the primary support contact for the application's end-users

  • Identifyand resolve issues within the application and across other teams

  • Guide workflow design, system building, testing, and analysis of technical issues

  • Implement system changes as requested by stakeholders

  • Communicate regularly with Epic representatives and attend project team meetings

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to meet project deliverables and timelines

  • Develop an understanding of operational needs andassistin workflow optimization

  • Provide training and support for end users

  • Troubleshoot issues andmaintaineffective communication with leadership

  • Monitor project status, deliverables, and team communications

  • Perform all other duties as assigned
