CT Tech - Weekday Eves
Rochester, NY

Monday - Friday; 3pm - 11:30pm EST, on call/callback, holidays and occasional weekends
Complete Description:
ยทConfirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety
ยทCoordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
ยทPrepare patients for scans and explain the procedure tohelp them feel comfortable.
ยทInsert IVs when necessary for the test.
ยทPositions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
ยทMaintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
ยทMaintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
Requirements:
-HCP's currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submissionยทCompletion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
