Job description

Description:

Remote/telecommute position; 40 hours 8a - 5p day shifts with rotating prime and non-prime call. Senior member of the Core Clinical Orders Sub Domain team which consists of 12-15 team members.

The Business Systems Analyst will join the Optum Insight team, working in a fully remote capacity to support our clinical systems modernization. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert for technical configuration, integrations, and Epic systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust system changes, utilizing modern technologies and digital tools to solve complex clinical workflow challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Epic certification/proficiency in Orders/Order Transmittal/Order Sets and/or ICON with 3+ years experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in business systems analysis or related technical role within the healthcare industry
  • 3+ years of hands-on technical experience working with Epic in a technical build role
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with a proven track record of presenting systems prototypes and functional models to business users.

The interview process will consist of up to 2 rounds of video phone interviews covering some technical content as well as past experience.
