Job description

The Revenue Cycle Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and implementing policies that ensure the accuracy of credits on patient accounts.
  • Overseeing the staff of the revenue cycle department
  • Managing work queues and staff work flows
  • Communicating with insurance providers and reviewing policy changes for payers.
  • Analyzing credit accounts and working with Manager on trends causing credits on an account.
  • Managing staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings
  • Train new staff along with the department manager.
  • Work with the department manager on staff production and quality .
  • Train staff on any performance issues.
SpecificationsExperience
  • Minimum of one year experience.
  • Previous Lead or Supervisory experience within revenue cycle or contract variance .
Education
  • Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Training
  • Experience in Epic or other practice management systems .
