Job Details – Locum Tenens CRNA (Van Wert, OH)
  • Position: Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
  • Location: Van Wert, OH 45891 — Northwest Ohio locum tenens opportunity with affordable living, strong schools, and outdoor recreation.
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: 7,530 – 7,930 (competitive pay for CRNA jobs)
  • Assignment Dates: Oct 5-9, Nov 23-27, Dec 21-25, Dec 28-Jan 1
  • Credentialing Time Frame: 60–90 days (temporary privileges available with clear background and malpractice history)
  • Shift: 8-hour days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Shifts per Week: 5 (40 hours per week)
  • Contract Length: 52 weeks (long-term locum tenens contract)
  • Call Schedule: Every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend (OR call only; no OB call); 45-minute response time
  • Team Model: All-CRNA practice (4 CRNAs, 4 ORs)
  • EMR System: EPIC (experience with EPIC EMR preferred)
Job Requirements – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Active, unrestricted CRNA license (Ohio license required for this assignment)
  • DEA registration (required for Ohio sites)
  • Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience in general anesthesia and acute care/OR settings
  • Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Demonstrated proficiency with spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks (case logs required)
  • Clear background and malpractice history for credentialing
Responsibilities – CRNA / Locum Tenens Anesthesia Provider
  • Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia and perioperative care for a variety of cases: endoscopy, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, and urology
  • Perform spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks as indicated and maintain accurate case logs
  • Participate in OR call rotation (no OB call) and respond within the designated response time
  • Document anesthesia care and perioperative notes accurately in EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with surgeons, OR staff, and fellow CRNAs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and anesthesia safety protocols
