Locum Provider Opportunity

Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Epic Practice Setting: Inpatient Patients Per Shift: 12 Does your Facility require physicians to be board certified?: Yes What is the license requirement to bid?: Licensed in MO or IMLC Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 90 Looking for a locum provider that can read transcranial dopplers, which is a requirement we have as a Comprehensive center. That provider could be set up with virtual access to read remotely, but also can come work in person for inpatient neuro shifts. Provider needs to be able to work days/nights/weekends and potential holidays as needed. 7a-7p 7p-7a 7a-1p round shift- this is flexible pending volume Only admit patients treated for stroke with TNK or mechanical thrombectomy all other admits are admitted to the hospitalist or intensivist under direction of Neurohospitalist. No oncall shifts, just regular shifts with rounding, all inhouse and consults (in 24 hour period 10 consults) (stroke activations per day roughly 10) these are shared with APP's. Heavy patient volume- provider must be self motivated Stroke Heavy Springfield is a comprehensive stroke center Lumbar puncture and other general Neuro for consults. Please provide last 24 months of case logs for LP and TNK when presenting your bids. These will be needed should the team want to interview.
