What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our Epic Ambulatory team, you will:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of EpicCare Ambulatory
  • Design, build, test, and maintain Epic system components to streamline clinical workflows.
  • Partner with clinicians and stakeholders to analyze business needs and create innovative solutions.
  • Configure workflows, documentation tools, Smart Tools, OTX, Health Maintenance, Registries, and more.
  • Provide technical expertise, training, and ongoing support for end users.
  • Collaborate on projects, system enhancements, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient safety.

What You Bring:

 Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience.
  • Hands-on Epic build experience with EpicCare Ambulatory or OTX (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows in outpatient settings and EMR system implementations.
  • Experience working in hospital or major medical center IT deployments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of billing, scheduling, access services, and health maintenance workflows.

 Certifications:

  • EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (required).

 Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Epic systems, hospital regulations (HIPAA, TJC), and quality standards.
  • Ability to lead meetings, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive change.
  • Experience with SAS or statistical software (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex IT concepts into practical clinical applications.
