Epic Analyst | MyChart

North Point Technology is seeking an experienced Epic MyChart Analyst to support the configuration, maintenance, testing, and optimization of patient facing Epic applications. This role works closely with stakeholders, application teams, trainers, and end users to improve MyChart functionality, resolve application issues, and support clinical and operational workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesEpic MyChart Support

• Serve as a primary support contact for application users
• Identify, investigate, and resolve MyChart application issues
• Design, build, implement, maintain, and enhance the application
• Evaluate and resolve service tickets promptly
• Implement requested application changes
• Retrieve requested application and operational data
• Assist and support other Epic analysts as needed

Testing and Workflow Analysis

• Support all phases of application testing
• Create and maintain workflow documentation
• Analyze how application changes affect clinical and operational workflows
• Validate system functionality before changes are moved into production
• Identify opportunities to improve application configuration, usability, and access
• Analyze new features and recommend appropriate system enhancements

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and application team members
• Work with trainers to develop documentation and training strategies
• Communicate application changes and new features to affected teams
• Participate in project meetings and applicable committees
• Provide leadership with regular updates regarding projects and application issues

Operational Support

• Provide ongoing production support for MyChart
• Participate in on call rotations
• Maintain regular communication with application and project team members
• Follow established security, privacy, operational, and documentation procedures
• Support system upgrades, implementations, and production launches

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field
• Active Epic MyChart certification
• At least three years of relevant Epic or healthcare application experience
• Experience configuring, supporting, or maintaining Epic MyChart
• Experience with application testing and workflow documentation
• Experience evaluating and resolving application service tickets
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, trainers, and end users
• Ability to maintain effective professional relationships
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applications
• Ability to participate in an on call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands on Epic MyChart build experience
• Experience supporting MyChart in a live healthcare environment
• Experience with patient portal workflows and digital patient engagement
• Experience supporting Epic upgrades and new feature implementations
• Knowledge of clinical and operational healthcare workflows
• Experience working with application security, user access, and patient proxy access
