What is an Epic internship?

Epic Internships are paid internship programs offered by Epic Systems, a leading healthcare software company. These internships provide students with hands-on experience working on real-world projects in areas such as software development, project management, user experience, and technical solutions. Interns at Epic often collaborate with professionals, receive mentorship, and gain exposure to the healthcare technology industry. The program is designed for students interested in technology and healthcare, and it often serves as a pathway to full-time positions at Epic after graduation.

To thrive as an Epic Intern, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid academic background—often in computer science, engineering, or related fields—are essential. Familiarity with programming languages, databases, and systems such as Epic's healthcare software or SQL is typically beneficial.
