UNC Health Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Board Certified/Eligible Physician (MD/DO) Hospitalist to provide virtual hospital medicine services to a variety of patients at our UNC Health Rockingham facility in Eden NC. The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients.

About This Position:

  • Tele-Nocturnist Position, working Per Diem Shifts from 7pm-7am.
  • Virtual management of admissions, ED consults, and inpatients, consisting of adults 18 and older.
  • High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services.
  • The candidate must be physically located in North Carolina.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1+ years of inpatient experience is preferred.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • ICU experience is a plus.
  • Telemedicine experience is a plus but not required.
  • Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.
