Registered Nurse Ambulatory Specialty
Novant Health is looking for a passionate and driven Registered Nurse to join our Heart and Vascular Institute Elizabeth - General Cardiology team. If you're ready to make a real impact while advancing your career in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic, this opportunity is for you.
  • Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Heart and Vascular Institute - Elizabeth

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate: Work with the care team to complete EPIC inbasket review, results follow-up, nursing assessments, and provide guidance within RN scope of practice.
  • Triage: Assess patient concerns, prioritize care needs, and coordinate with providers for timely interventions.
  • Post-Operative Patient Education & Care: Provide instructions, support recovery, and ensure patients understand follow-up care plans.
  • Nurse Visits: Conduct direct patient care, administer treatments, and monitor progress.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in appropriate state, required. ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
