Epic Credentialed Trainer

100% On-Site

Augusta, Georgia

Project Overview

We are seeking experienced Epic Credentialed Trainers to support a large healthcare system as newly acquired locations transition onto the Epic platform. The role will play a critical role in preparing end users for a successful system adoption by delivering workflow-based training and providing hands-on support throughout the implementation process.

As an Epic Credentialed Trainer, you will work directly with physicians, nurses, office staff, and other clinical and operational users to ensure they are confident using Epic workflows. Following training, you will provide At-The-Elbow (ATE) support during go-live activities, helping users navigate the system in a live patient care environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Epic Credentialed Trainer who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments and enjoys supporting organizations through large-scale Epic transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led Epic training sessions to clinical and non-clinical end users.
  • Facilitate workflow-based education for newly acquired home health and hospice locations.
  • Serve as an Epic Credentialed Trainer by providing expert guidance on Epic functionality and best practices.
  • Provide hands-on At-The-Elbow (ATE) support during and after go-live activities.
  • Assist end users with workflow adoption, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Partner closely with operational and project teams to ensure a seamless Epic transition.
  • Support one or more of the following Epic applications:
    • Ambulatory Cadence
    • Ambulatory Dorothy Comfort
    • Dorothy Comfort Home Health & Hospice
  • Reinforce learning and promote user confidence throughout the implementation process.

Qualifications

  • Active Epic Credentialed Trainer status in one or more of the following applications:
    • Ambulatory Cadence
    • Ambulatory Dorothy Comfort
    • Dorothy Comfort Home Health & Hospice
  • 3 to 5+ years of recent Epic training experience.
  • Proven experience delivering instructor-led Epic training programs.
  • Prior At-The-Elbow (ATE) support experience during Epic implementations or go-lives.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and end-user support skills.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementations, acquisitions, upgrades, or optimization initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with clinical and operational staff while serving as an effective Epic Credentialed Trainer.

Additional Project Details

  • Initial engagement is approximately 6 weeks.
  • Position requires onsite support.
  • Some trainers may be required to conduct Saturday training sessions.
  • Project kickoff is scheduled for September.
  • Trainers will support end users across multiple newly acquired healthcare locations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
