Diagnostic Radiology Physician Needed
Locum Tenens

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Physician for Locum Tenens coverage beginning March/April 2026. This opportunity supports inpatient and outpatient imaging services and offers recurring monthly coverage with weekday daytime shifts.

Assignment Highlights
  • Coverage Type: Locum Tenens (Gap Coverage)

  • Commitment: 1 2 weeks per month (full week blocks preferred)

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (8 paid hours + 1 unpaid lunch)

  • Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

  • Onsite Requirement: Yes onsite coverage required

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days

This role includes general diagnostic radiology interpretation with fluoroscopy and procedural work. Case mix includes general radiology, emergency STAT reads, fluoroscopic procedures, epidurals, arthrograms, hip injections, and myelograms, with approximately 5 procedures per day in addition to diagnostic reads. The physician will work alongside Physician Assistants and experienced technologists in a collaborative imaging environment using EPIC EMR.

Requirements

BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology.
Active state license or eligible via IMLC.
Flu and COVID vaccination required.
